Bellevue Presbyterian Church began on October 22, 1967, when 62 charter members came together with the vision of serving the Bellevue community of Nashville. As the church grew, so did its commitment to supporting local families.

In 1970, BPC launched its first child care initiative through a Mothers-Day-Out program. With demand for early childhood care increasing, the church broke ground in 1974 on a new educational wing that provided dedicated classroom space and supported the launch of a five-day-a-week preschool program in 1976. As more parents entered the workforce, BPC expanded its support by introducing an after-school program for children of working families.

Today, Bellevue Presbyterian Church continues its tradition of providing a caring educational environment for the children of Nashville. With a lasting legacy of service, Bellevue Presbyterian Church Early Education remains committed to helping children grow, learn, and flourish.

Our History
"As the church grows numerically with the growth of the community, it will seek to grow especially in the faithfulness of its witness, by word and by deed, to the community it has been called to serve."
- BPC Minister Roger Jackie 1973
